Nintendo will be releasing a free messaging system for the 3DS via the eShop in December. It will be known as Swapnote and will allow owners of the 3DS to “send 3D messages to their friends via the SpotPass™ and StreetPass features. Users can hand-write messages in 3D and also include picture and sound.”
